Welcome to the Brady East STD (BESTD) Clinic
The mission of the Brady East STD Clinic is to provide quality, professional sexually transmitted disease diagnosis and treatment as well as HIV/AIDS prevention counseling and testing in a manner that is sensitive to the sexual orientation and gender identity of our clients.
Created in 1974, the clinic has been a not-for-profit organization serving all people in Milwaukee and surrounding counties. The BESTD Clinic provides its services at no cost.
Today, the clinic still serves the community as a resource to combat HIV and STDs through testing and education. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer, stop in during clinic hours to discuss what's involved or complete an application online.
BESTD was founded in 1974 to meet the sexual health needs of men who have sex with men, though our services are free and available to any man needing care.
Unfortunately, we do not have the equipment, space, or expertise to provide care to women. We will gladly provide information on clinics that provide sexual health services for women.
